How region-based dating changes it
On Amarbis you choose the region you meet people from, and ranking isn't based on distance. Missoula is part of Montana, so choosing Montana puts Missoula in your pool, and you aren't competing with whoever lives next door to the person you want to meet. There are no distance limits beyond that, so you can look past Montana too.
Meeting someone from Missoula when you live elsewhere
- Start with a question about Missoula, not "hey". People like talking about where they live.
- Plan the first meeting around the distance. From Hamilton to Missoula is about 43 straight-line miles, and the road is longer, so make the trip worth it with a lunch or an afternoon rather than a quick coffee.
- Keep the first meeting short and public, plan to meet partway if you can, and read the guide to meeting safely.
